Entry window runs from July 14 to August 4, with award ceremony slated for September in Lagos
The OOH Academy Nigeria has announced the commencement of submissions for the 2025 edition of the Location Marketing Awards (LOMA), a flagship recognition platform for excellence in Nigeria’s out-of-home (OOH) advertising industry.
Entry submissions officially opened on Sunday, July 14, and will run through Sunday, Aug,,ust 4, 2025. Eligible campaigns must have been executed between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025. Organisers are inviting entries from agencies, brands, media owners, technology providers, content creators, and creative professionals across the country.

Now in its third year, the LOMA Awards continue to celebrate creative brilliance, technological innovation, and operational excellence within the evolving landscape of outdoor advertising. The 2025 edition maintains its rigorous two-stage process: initial online submissions followed by the submission of supporting materials for shortlisted entries.

The judging framework combines expert evaluations with public voting to deliver objective results.
Diverse categories, new industry partners
The 2025 edition features a robust selection of award categories, including Campaign of the Year, Ad-Tech Innovation, Sales and Operations, Media Audit, Rising Star, Creator and Commerce, Brand Achievement, and Individual Excellence.
This year, the LOMA platform has also attracted new partners, with Moving Walls—an ad-tech company—joining as an official supporter for the first time. They will accompany returning sponsors such as Absen, a global LED screen manufacturer, and Polygon, a programmatic DOOH network, both of whom have supported the initiative since its inception.

September conference and awards ceremony
The 2025 LOMA Awards will culminate in a two-day conference and awards gala scheduled for September 25–26 at Ikeja, Lagos. The event will feature panel sessions, exhibitions, networking opportunities, and breakaway discussions, attracting leading figures from across the OOH, advertising, and tech industries.
