Preparations are in full swing for the 2025 edition of the annual wellness and mental health event, now branded as Rejuvenate 2025. Organized by the Whole Women Community and Recharge Life Centre, this impactful initiative will run from June 25 to July 19, 2025, across various locations in Nigeria, with over 6,000 participants anticipated to attend.
Under the theme Rejuvenate, the event aims to spotlight mental health issues and provide tangible solutions to the challenges faced by women and youth nationwide. It is organized in collaboration with key partners, including the University of Lagos, the Traders and Small Business Association (Ifo, Ogun State), and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Region 3 (Ogun State).
The Recharge Life Centre and Whole Women Community have been at the forefront of mental health advocacy and education for more than a decade. As a licensed mental health institution affiliated with the International Association for Counselling and the Institute of Counselling Nigeria, the organization has consistently worked with public and private stakeholders to deliver life-changing services.
In the face of Nigeria’s economic challenges, the need for mental health support is more urgent than ever. Experts warn that growing social and financial pressures are severely impacting the emotional well-being of vulnerable groups, especially women and youth. Rejuvenate 2025 seeks to address this critical issue through its innovative and accessible programs.
“Rejuvenate 2025 is not just an event; it’s a movement to rebuild emotional strength, foster resilience, and improve overall well-being,” remarked Ediri Ose-Ediale, Executive Director of Recharge Life Centre.
The roadshow is divided into four key phases:
Teens Mental Health and Emotional Intelligence Event: June 25, 2025, at the International School Lagos.
Mind Hack Workshop: July 8, 2025, at the Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, University of Lagos.
Women’s Mental Wellbeing Conference: July 9, 2025, also at the University of Lagos.
Ifo Health and Business Day: July 19, 2025, at the Abigael Omotayo Event Centre, Ogun State.
